LeoVegas Pulls Royal Panda from UK Casino Gaming Market
For years, UK casino slots has been one of the most vibrant and competitive marketplaces in the UK. It’s a major part of the online gaming industry, with both quality and quantity to pick from. However, for a while now, we’ve noticed some new casino sites and big name casino sites pulling games. With the UK Government at loggerheads with the gambling industry over regulation, there’s been a few big companies pulling out of the scene.
The latest game to be pulled from the UK scene, though, is LeoVegas’ Royal Panda brand. Royal Panda will be pulled out of the UK by the 31st of January. Their brand is one of the leading brands under the LeoVegas name, but it’s not exactly performed to expectation. The brand was purchased in 2017 by LeoVegas for €60m but has not performed as it was expected to in the UK market.
An announcement was made on the Royal Panda page, which simply read: “We regret to inform you that Royal Panda will no longer be operating in the UK from 31 January 2020. We’ve had a great time entertaining you over the years and wish to thank you very much for choosing to play with us,”
This will start taking place quite soon, with new players not able to sign-up any longer, nor place deposits or bets. By the 31st of January, though, you will not be able to access the funds in your account or place any kind of casino bets. Your account will be gone. If you use Royal Panda in the UK, you might wish to check your account balance.
